About Me

I am a Beijing-born illustrator and a graduate from Honours Bachelor of Illustration at Sheridan College. Growing up in a capital steeped in history, I’ve always been drawn to the friction between ancient cultural heritage and contemporary narrative. My work is an attempt to bridge these worlds—translating original IPs into comics and moving images that carry the quiet warmth of Hayao Miyazaki’s storytelling.

But there is another side to my practice: a deep-seated obsession with mechanical logic. Beyond the canvas, I am a hardcore mecha enthusiast. I don't just draw machines; I build and modify them. By integrating Blender modeling, Revo 3D scanning, and 3D printing into my workflow, I treat Gundam and Warhammer parts as structural puzzles. This "constructor" mindset is what grounds my illustrations, granting them a rigorous sense of spatial logic that goes beyond mere surface detail.

Whether I’m out with a camera, sketching plein air, or documenting life through observational comics, my goal remains the same: to capture the authentic. Between the cold precision of a 3D scan and the fluid warmth of a hand-drawn line, I find my creative edge.
