This project is a storyboard adaptation of selected chapters from The Monkey Paw. It explores the fundamentals of visual sequencing, pacing, and narrative translation from text to image. By interpreting key moments of the story through storyboard panels, the work develops an understanding of composition and cinematic storytelling. Created using watercolor, the project emphasizes atmosphere and mood, supporting the story’s suspenseful and unsettling tone while building a foundation for future comic and narrative illustration projects.
